Have you ever wondered about the reason why, when you think of someone, they somehow appear? I do - all the time!

Tapping into my intuition has always worked for me and when I ignore my gut feeling, I always regret it.

A childhood friend of mine use to call me just as I was picking up the phone to call her.  It could have been weeks since we talked, but we always seemed to be in synch.  Today those calls have moved to texts, but still they appear just as I am thinking of her.

If you ask the experts, they say that coincidence does not exist, however synchronicity does.
The power of synchronicity and its impact on your road to success

Synchronicity is an unlikely or impossible coincidence that cannot be explained by luck or chance. It is also a prophecy. Synchronicity is the unexplainable awareness of someone's life.

When you are in sync with the [person or goal] that you want, you are much more likely to meet that [person or goal].  This awareness and visualization is reflected in a quote by Zig Ziglar.

"If you want to reach a goal, you must see the reaching in your own mind before you actually arrive at the goal."

Using this same philosophy of synchronicity, I have notice that many people who are very successful tend to believe that they will be very successful. They think about it, they dream it, they  live it. The power of positive thinking and visualization, often ensures that whatever you believe will happen and does.

Visualization
It is the use of the imagination through pictures or mental imagery to create visions of what we want in our lives and how to make them happen. Along with focus and emotion it becomes a powerful, creative tool that helps us achieve what we want in life.

Athletes do this all the time.  They imagine themselves crossing the finish line, making a play, or where to place the ball to win a point or goal. In business we must do this too. Our ability to visualize positive outcomes, affects our attitudes and behaviors, which ultimately affects our success in a situation.

Road Map

We may no longer pull out the atlas, but it's hard to get around an unfamiliar part of the city without GPS. You would never head out on a new destination without a clear idea of how you plan to get there.

Reaching your business destinations [goals], is no different than heading out on a journey somewhere you have never been before.  You need to know where you are going and how you are going to get there.

Precise

If you write down your affirmation and it is unclear, then so will be it's interpretation. If I was traveling from the Marketing Eye office in Dallas to the one in Atlanta, I would want to have clearer instructions than "drive along I-20."

Make sure that you write down in detail exactly what your journey will look like and how you are going it achieve it step by step.

Will

Eliminate 'hope', 'might' and 'maybe' from your vocabulary. Be clear that you will achieve your goals.  If you are not sure if you can do it, you surely will not be able to do it.

Set 'Waze' into your Business GPS

If you have not tried the Waze yet, you really need to get it.  It has helped me maneuver through highway closures, major accidents,  and getting around construction in Dallas and Los Angeles.

Every route to success will come with bumps and detours.  Not only do you need to know how you will deal with these obstacles, you may need a friend or mentour to help you maneuver the rough road. Make sure you have a 'Waze' to help guide you.
